Counselling and Psychotherapy in Derby
It takes a quiet kind of courage to admit that things feel heavy. Perhaps you’ve spent a lifetime feeling slightly "different," or you’re navigating a persistent sense of anxiety that you can’t quite shake. Whether you are living with the weight of depression, the echoes of childhood trauma, or the complexities of neurodivergence, I offer a grounded, compassionate space where you don't have to "mask" or hold it all together.
With three years of clinical experience, I support people in making sense of their internal worlds - helping you move from a place of surviving to a place where you can truly inhabit your life.My approach is rooted in a relational and developmental understanding of human experience. I believe therapy is a space where meaningful change can emerge through a safe and authentic relationship.
I bring curiosity, empathy, and a grounded presence to my work with clients. I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models to respond flexibly to your unique needs. If you're considering beginning therapy, I'd be honoured to accompany you on that journey.
I also have a deep interest in working with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, including ADHD or Autism. Often, being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world brings its own unique set of wounds - from sensory overwhelm and burnout to a persistent feeling of being "too much" or "not enough." Together, we can explore how your unique brain works and find ways to navigate a world that wasn't always built with you in mind.
